Prior to founding Property Plus Lawyers, Peter worked as a property lawyer at a national law firm advising a wide range of clients in both the private and public sector, including large developers, private investors, government bodies (both State and local) and financial institutions.
Peter has experience advising on a number of significant residential, commercial, and industrial transactions throughout Victoria, including:
- Acting for a listed trustee company in relation to a broad range of property acquisitions and disposals in Victoria, including preparing and negotiating the contracts of sale and completing settlements
- Acting for a private investment group in relation to the purchase of large format retail centre for $60+ million
- Acting for a large developer in relation to the sale of a shopping centre, anchored by a Woolworths lease and supported by specialty retail tenants
- Acting for government entities and advising on general property law, vacant land acquisitions, easement issues and road discontinuances
- Acting for developers and landowners in relation to preparing off the plan contracts of sale for residential apartments and townhouses
- Advising banks and lenders in relation to consent matters and priority deeds, and preparing finance and security documents
